In September of 2019, I started the most rewarding, stressful, inspiring, difficult adventure of my life; a 4326-km relay run over 47 days from Peterborough Ontario to Macheros Mexico, following the migration path of monarch butterflies. Each day was a testament to the struggle that monarch butterflies go through during their impossibly long journey, as each runner in the relay ran 50 km or more.
